I am curious about why people who used to come to meetings no longer attend. 
  Is it purely a busy schedule or are the meetings too boring?  If the 
meetings are too boring what would make you want to come back (other than a 
free Linux box as a doorprize)?  Of those that are "currently" attending, 
what would make the experience better for you?

I think that it is a wonderful forum for people who don't do "tech" work to 
be exposed to things that they would not be exposed to.  For people in tech 
jobs I think that it is a good place to learn/teach about specifics that are 
not a part of the everyday routine.  I enjoy the meetings for a host of 
reasons.  If you don't (or haven't) please let your voice be heard.
